Frenzy 1972 crime mystery movie

Running time: 115 minutes

Language: English

When another woman is found dead in Thames strangled with a necktie police finally finds a suspects. Richard Ian Blaney works in a bar, but after he is sacked he seeks help from his ex-wife and later spends the night in the Salvation Army dormitory. When the next day his wife is found dead Blaney becomes the prime suspect.

Alfred Hitchcock’s movie about the serial killer investigation that keeps returning to the same suspect. Contrary to other Hitchcock movies it has completely different style of narration, which in some way was a bit of let-down. Overall it is quite enjoyable crime movie, but lacks the elements of mystery.
